Pro Excellent for professionals (graphic designers, photographers and video editors)
This monitor provides a range of brightness and contrast. The colour reproduction is accurate, colours look vivid. Also, what is have to be mentioned is that besides Brightness, Contrast, Gamma, colour temperature and sharpness settings, there’s also BlueLight emissions filter that prevent eye fatigue.

Acer H277HU does not work with MacBook 2017 and newer MacBooks.
Con The on-board speakers do not have a perfect sound
Stereo 3W speakers are satisfactory in a pinch, but lack in bass. The main downside of these speakers is that the volume cannot be adjusted via system (from laptop), only by buttons of OSD.
Con Average picture quality
Despite the fact that the brightness and contrast are at a high level of quality, picture is average. Because it has resolution of 2560 x 1440p and 27 inches display, the pixels are located further apart, and this leads to a picture quality reduction.
Con Stand height is not adjustable
It has a small tilt angle (from 5 forward to 15 degrees back) and one height, that raises it just to three inches.

The monitor capable to charge laptop around 30W while 45W and 87W needed. It’s enough for surfing the internet or listening to music, but tasks that are more power consuming, such as: 3D rendering, video/audio/photo editing the power depletes at a rate quicker than charge.

Ports are located at the back side of the monitor, which makes it hard to reach them. So every time you have to turn this monitor around to plug a USB.
