AccuWeather Platinum Review

Accuweather's prediction of "Now" includes a list of weather details and suggestions under My AccuWeather for DIY Projects, Fishing & Game, Outdoor Fitness, Respiratory Health, and Travel.

AccuWeather uses Google's suggested app structure for displaying categories with scrolling tabs similar to the Play Store for "Locations," "Now," and "Hourly" etc. The UI is very clean and functional but not as visually appealing as other weather application such as Yahoo Weather.

AccuWeather offers a free version of the application with all of the same features but it includes annoying banner ads at the bottom.

AccuWeather is somewhat middle of the pack concerning map options. The maps are live but there are only two options for map types: radar and cloud cover.

They have a proprietary real feel temperature which tells you how the temperature feels taking into account direct sunlight and wind.

The AccuWeather application includes useful weather widgets in both the 4x1 and 4x2 size.

AccuWeather offers video forecasts in English and many in Spanish.
