Odrive lets you access all your cloud storage services from one single place. The FREE option actually lets you get things done and has no time limits, however, encryption is not supported in the FREE version.
Ranked in these QuestionsQuestion Ranking
Pros
Pro Most major cloud storages providers supported
All the big players like Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft Onedrive, and a long list of etceteras are supported in this app.
Pro Unlimited connections are allowed on the free version
Even if you have the free plan, you can stack up unlimited storage spaces. By contrast, most free plans from competitors only allow stacking up to 10 accounts.
Pro Method of syncing scales if you have a lot of data
I like how the app doesn't try to sync everything in the beginning. It comes up quickly and doesn't eat up bandwidth unnecessarily. Allows me to get rid of all the other sync clients I would have had to install and just use this one.
Pro It can create shared workspaces
The "spaces" feature lets you create shared work environments that integrate content from multiple cloud storage services. It is excellent for a collaborative work environment.
Pro Swift responses by engineering team on the odrive forum.
An engineering team member generally responds to forum posts within an hour or two.
Cons
Con No desync for free users
In the dektop application, you can't desync files as a free user. So after syncing something you are "stuck" with it.
Con iOS and Android support are a little confusing
There are Android and IOS versions that the company offers (you can find it by looking in their forum), but it is like it's a separate system. You have to sign up again as a separate user for the mobile app that's different from your web/desktop odrive user and link your storage again to your mobile user's account. Confusing at first, but once you know what's going on, it's not too bad.
Con It lacks 2 Factor Authentication
This extra layer of security is quite common nowadays, but in the day of this writing, odrive is still lacking this feature.
Con No cloud-to-cloud sync
With this app, there is no easy way to perform a cloud-to-cloud or a cloud-to-cloud backup, a critical feature that many competitors have.
Con Customer support
The user guide is accessed via the web UI, and it's searchable but somewhat lacking. The "contact customer service" page redirects the technical questions to their forum.
