It comes with some pre-trimmed speaker wire, so you should be able to just plug it in and use it right away.

They can work as a decent part of a Home Theater speaker set. Especially for the mid ranges.

These speakers have a quality finish: their grill is removable, the speakers are rubber sealed, the connectors are well made. This is certainly much more quality than you would expect from such an economic speaker set.

They don't perform so well at high volumes

It is clear that this budget speakers are not meant to be used at very high volumes, because one the volume cranks up, the bass sounds muddy and the high frequencies sound harsh. Not a clear sound at all.
