It's a platform that will allow users to easily support open source with a monthly subscription (any amount) and allowing developers to find an easier way to monetize their open-source projects (we offer different solutions to do that) such as:

• open core - proprietary features on top of open source products which allows you to SELL the product as 'Enterprise edition', 'Professional edition', etc. (used by GitLab for example)
• subscriptions - users monthly subscription is distributed across their favorite projects
• donations
