Ranked in these QuestionsQuestion Ranking
Pro Very portable
The board is light and tiny and I can bring with me on my small backpack
The Bolt is compact and light at just 23 inches and 9 lb. This makes it quite easy to carry around when not in use (as well as cheaper to ship).
Pro Can be pushed ridden when battery is dead
The user has the option to push ride when the battery dies, making for a board that can be used at all times. Note that there will still be some slight friction when pushing due to the motor and belt drive, which will make it more difficult than pushing a board with no motor.
Pro Battery can be used to charge other devices
A USB port in the body of the board can be used for charging your other electronic devices. This is great when you’re out and about and you need to charge a phone or MP3 player. It’s also very useful in emergency situations.
Pro Battery pack integrated in the body
The design hides everything but the motor within the body of the board.
Con Has not been released
You can only pre-order the board (as of Oct. 2016), as there is no current way to purchase it outright yet.
Con Slower than the others
The Bolt has a top speed of 15 mph, which is relatively slow compared to other boards that can reach speeds around 20 to 25 mph.
