Ranked in these QuestionsQuestion Ranking
Pro Customizable hardware
If you buy directly from the Motorola website, you can customize the pieces that make the Moto G. Mix and match front, back and accent colors to make your phone your own.
Pro Water resistant
Rated at IPX7 water protection, the Moto G (2015) is designed to be fully splash proof and even be able to manage submersion in 1m of water for 30 minutes.
Pro Great battery life
The battery can easily handle 6 hours of screen on time in a day, or likely will last 2 full days with light use.
Pro Good cameras
For under $200, you'll be hard pressed to find better cameras than on the Moto G (2015). With a 13MP rear camera and 5MP selfie camera, they will have improved low light performance and greater clarity.
Pro Two versions available
The 16GB version of the Moto G (2015) comes with 2GB of RAM, while the 8GB version only has 1GB of RAM. Added RAM will increase performance and fluidity throughout the UI. This is a welcome change, because the biggest complaint with previous generation Moto G phones has been the 1GB of RAM limit, so this improvement is very welcome.
Con No 5GHz WiFi or NFC
These aren't essential features for most users, and Motorola did cut a few corners to bring down the price.
At 11.6mm thick at it's thickest point, the Moto G (2015) is a bit chubby. It feels pretty good to hold because of the curve of the rear panel, but that doesn't make it any thinner.
