Samsung M2835DW [$95] Review

It costs just under 3 cents to print a page. 2.3 for the toner and .7 for drum wear. It also comes with a 1.200-page toner cartridge.

As far as printers go, M2835DW has a relatively straightforward setup. It's still clunky, but better than most other options. It offers CD, Ethernet and wireless installation options and comes with a quick-start guide to help out. Unfortunately, the guide assumes a CD drive is present, which is not true nearly as often anymore. A full installation guide along with drivers can be found online.

M2835DW prints 28 single-sided pages per minute, and 13 pages per minute in duplex mode. It can slow down if the document contains complex formatting.

Supports a few mobile printing standards including tap-to-print for NFC enabled devices, AirPrint for iOS devices, Google Cloud Print for Google services / Chrome OS users.

This printer has excellent text quality with even three-point font readable.

Has auto-duplexing support.
