Galaxy S5 comes with a lot of extra applications not present in stock Android and an alternative front-end touch interface called TouchWiz that changes much of the default functionality of Android. Of the application included many duplicate the functionality of stock applications and essentially become useless taking up space and slightly slowing down the performance.
