The 360 Eye is a high-end robot vacuum with smart features like advanced room navigation and in-app controls. However, it's lackluster performance doesn't match its high price tag.
Ranked in these QuestionsQuestion Ranking
Pro Very good at navigating around the house
The 360 Eye is very good at creating routes that avoid obstacles and systematically go over the entire room thanks to the 360 degree mapping camera. The robot will map out the layout of the furniture and remember where it has already cleaned the floor, and what areas still require attendance.
Pro Can be controlled via app
Through the app you can start, stop, pause, or schedule the cleaning process, as well as, view the activity map to see which spots it doesn’t clean. The mobile application is very simple and isn’t filled with dubious features that don’t actually improve the product, like, a manual steering mode.
Pro Automatic recharging
The robot uses a slim docking station to recharge itself. It does so automatically and requires no human interaction. And if the battery runs out during a cleaning session, it will continue from where it left off and finish the job.
Pro It can handle most floor surfaces
This robot is powerful enough to effectively clean both hard floors as well as rugs and carpets.
Pro Can be controlled via a companion app
You can control your robot entirely using the companion app. You can start or stop a session, view the cleaner's route, schedule a cleaning and get notifications about the robot's status.
Con Underwhelming performance for a top-tier robot
This high-end device will set you back $1000, but cheaper alternatives from competitors can offer similar (if not better) cleaning performance.
Con You have to empty the dust bin fairly often
The capacity of the dust bin is only 0.33L, which fills up quite quickly. You might need to even empty it mid-run if the floor is really dirty.
This robot cleaner produces a lot of noise - 70 dB, which is comparable to a traditional wired vacuum.
Con Very poor battery life
One charge lasts only 45 minutes, well below the average of 80 minutes for most devices.
Con Doesn't fit under furniture
This particular model is very tall for a robot vacuum - just under 5 inches in height. You need to keep that in mind, because it may not be able to clean under your furniture.
