Pro Simple setup
Once the card put in a PCI-E slot and drivers are installed via a bundled CD, it's ready to go.
Pro Great value for money
This card can achieve reasonable speeds (300Mbps) at a affordable cost ($15-$20).
Cons
Con Multiple reports of the card dying
Multiple people have had issues with the card slowing down, having connection issues or becoming completely unusable altogether. Issues usually start after the first 3 months of use, but some earlier cases have been documented as well. What percentage of devices are plagued by such issues is unknown.
Con Getting max speed requires some tinkering
The network adapter is very sensitive to antenna placement. Slight repositioning can dramatically affect speeds.
Con The antennas are somewhat flimsy
The antennas are a little wobbly and are in danger to accidentally breaking off.
