Cordless tools are both safer and more pleasant to use, compared to the regular corded electrical power tools. With this power tool, you can choose whether you'd like to bag the dust or attach a vacuum hose and extract it using a dedicated vacuum unit, as it comes with both a dust bag and a 1-1/4" to 2-1/2" hose adapter.

You can easily adjust the speed of this sander by using a switch which is located at the top of the unit. The six position switch will allow you to vary the motor speed between 7000 RPM and 11000 RPM.

Due to the large 5" sanding pad and a variable speed feature, this palm sander is very versatile regarding what it can be used for. A combination of slow (7000 RPM) speed and a rough, grit 60 sanding pad allows you to remove a large volume of material rapidly. For example, with the given settings you'll easily level wooden doors within a couple of minutes. On the other hand, if you use fast speed (11000 RPM) and a fine sanding disk, you'll be able to achieve a smooth surface finish.
