Con Proprietary
While Microsoft Edge is currently available for Windows 10 without additional monetary charge (free as in price), it is currently not free as in freedom (meaning that it does not allow users to view the source code used to create, to modify that code, or to redistribute modifications) and is therefore neither free nor open-source software.

Out of Date Pros + Cons
Con Cross platform support lacking
Only available on Windows 10 for desktop users, Edge manages to filter out a significant number of its intended target audience. Although also available on Android, the mobile version has significant stability issues, making it an unreliable primary browser. Unfortunately, this completely negates the main reason for wanting to use it in the first place - cross platform connectivity.
Con Only for Windows 10
On desktops, Edge is only available on Windows 10. However, it is cross-platform on tablets.
