Absolutely love this backpack! Even though it's 60L (carry-on limit is usually around 40L), because of its soft material it can easily be made small enough to use as a carry on as long as it's not filled. I use the Flash for both travel and hiking (did a 96 mile trek with me this summer). It has done 300+ miles, been checked on flights multiple times, and barely has any signs of wear. Easily the most comfortable pack I've owned and it really helps that it has an adjustable torso. The uplift straps (REI version of compression straps) really keep the weight exactly where you want it. The only issue I've found is that the angle of the mesh for water bottles at the side means bottles really don't stay where I want them, so I don't use those compartments. It also seems to have a smaller capacity compared to other 60L backpacks. Really can't recommend this pack enough! See More
