Much better than having the volume control somewhere along the wire - when something blares out too loud, giving you a jump-scare & having you fumbling around trying to find the control. With these, the control is easy to find, right there on the back of the left ear.

These get a lot less sweaty than the faux-leather ones you see a lot of other headsets using.

Much less prone to breaking than other headsets - those with a plastic headband can just snap on you.
