Pros
Pro Intuitive and fluid parkour movement gives a sense of power and control
The main protagonist is capable of scaling buildings, jumping over obstacles, and vaulting over zombies. This makes traversing the open-world city a lot of fun, as it is intuitively controlled as well as gives a sense of power to the player that they can artfully traverse the world with ease.
Pro Challenging and visceral combat that offers a lot of variety of gameplay and outcome
The combat is visceral and offers a great deal of variety in terms of available weapons and different enemy types. It presents a reasonable amount of challenge that is rewarding to overcome, as well as multiple ways of emerging victorious in each encounter.
Pro Deep weapon-crafting system that encourages exploration in order to create more and more destructive weapons
There are blueprints found throughout the game world that can be used to modify existing weapons in a number of ways. You can add various elemental powers to the ones you have, or create new weapons such as enemy-seeking grenades, exploding throwing stars, and makeshift bats with nails through them. This selection of enhancements to weapons makes great incentive to find the blueprints and items to create them, as well as creates a fun scenario where exploring your options of attack is quite deep.
Pro Take a break from the main story with numerous side-quests
There's a wide variety of side-quests, and a large portion of them are multi-part adventures with great storytelling, meaning they will each take some time to work through. This not only adds depth to the story and world, but elongates the game with extra things to do for when the player is bored or finished with the main quest.
Pro Subtle co-op rewards
This game really rewards coop players who work as a team. Even something as simple as healing is much more effective if someone else does it. If you heal yourself, it takes time and can be incomplete. If a play partner heals you, it is instant and complete and they get experience for healing you.
The zombies are great at cornering you as well, meaning players who stick together and watch each other's backs will thrive. Add to all of that the game's scaling. If you play new game plus while a friend is just starting then the game intelligently scales combat to provide just the right amount of challenge to both of you, even when you are going after the same enemy.
Pro Satisfying combat
The combat is impactful, visceral and offers a great deal of variety in terms of available weapons and different enemy types. It presents a reasonable amount of challenge that is rewarding to overcome and offers multiple ways of emerging victorious in each encounter.
Pro Expansive weapon-crafting system

Cons
Con Poor plot and characters
The story is nothing new, and many of the plot elements are all too familiar at this point: Another reluctant hero and cold government agent mixed up in a plot that can be seen coming from miles away.
