I use TMetric in my work with remote clients. I am very happy with results and benefits this app gives to me. For the price of coffee, a have a user-friendly time tracking and billing app which simplifies the whole process of task and time management. My clients are satisfied with my work and reports I send...
Due to the nature of the app and that it tracks everything a users does it can easily pick up on an employees website usage. Ideally one should not be cruising the web while working but realistically this can be seen as pretty overbearing of an employer.
Many other time tracking apps allow for free users under a certain team size and for personal use, Hubstaff does not allow for this and only has a limited 14 day trial of the software before one needs to pay a monthly fee that starts at $5 a month for the lowest package.
The free Android version has only 50 uses allowed and the free PC version has a limited 30 day trial. While nice to be able to try the app for free many other timers allow single user unlimited use of their apps.
There is no way to customize the dashboard, on top of this the info provided is all but useless on small teams or with single users. Basically it should allow the user to customize to their experience, but sadly does not do so.
