The E-Go is created by Yuneec, which is a company that develops electronic aircraft. Yuneec used technology developed for aviation in order to provide long boarders with a great electric alternative.

Pros
Pro Relatively inexpensive
Most similar boards cost around $1,000 making the Yuneec E-Go a cheaper option at $699. This is a solid option for those looking to get into the hobby without making an overly large investment.
Pro Battery can be used to charge other devices
There is a standard USB port on the battery that can be used to charge a phone or another device when the board is switched on. The battery charger uses a standard PC/monitor cable from the transformer block to the wall. The cable shipped with the board is a little buggy, but can easily be replaced by a standard computer cable if it fails.
Pro Lightweight
The Yuneec E-Go weighs 14 lb, which is middle of the road compared to most current electric skateboards. Looking at the price compared to the weight, it's definitely a value for a smaller or lighter rider who doesn't need to go too fast.
Pro Onboard LED headlight for night riding
The onboard LED headlight helps riders keep an eye on the road and be seen by oncoming vehicles or pedestrians.
Pro 18 miles on a full charge
The E-Go sacrifices top speed for endurance. This board is slower than others, but will go farther. In order to increase battery life, the batteries receive a small charge when the brakes are applied.
Pro Weatherproof
The Yuneec E-Go has been advertised as weatherproof, but significant damage to the electronics in both the controller and the battery will happen if driven on wet ground or through puddles. Water from the front wheels enters easily and quickly through the on/off switch. This information comes from first-hand experience and is corroborated by Yuneec.
Cons
Con Not very powerful
The Yuneec E-Go is equipped with an onboard 400 W motor that is capable of pushing the board up to about 12 mph. This is on the low end in comparison to other popular electronic skateboards.
Con No Android Application
While there is application for iOS, there is not one for Android. The company has reported on several occasions they are working on this, but it is still not released and no time frame has been given.
Con One wheel braking
The brakes only operate on one wheel, which creates a terribly unbalanced braking experience. During heavy braking, the board will pull toward the side with the brake.
Con Too slow for sports
The max speed of the board is 12 mph, which is fine for transportation purposes but lacking for sports.
Con Remote gets disconnected often
The remote controls the brakes, but can potentially lose connection with the board (they connect using a 2.4 GHz Bluetooth connection). While this should not be something that drops often, if/when it does there is the potential for serious injury as a result of not being able to stop the board.
