A basic version of Timely is free, but you can opt to buy the Premium version for $2.99 that has more themes, sounds and challenges. The premium version also introduces cloud synchronization and disables ads.
The alarm app does not pop-up when it rings. Without the app GUI, you can't dismiss the alarm. So you have to launch manually the app when it rings to dismiss.
Timely combines vibrant colors, smooth transition effects, and peaceful animations that make the user experience all the more enjoyable. From the neat scrolling effects to the futuristic looking timer, the artistic touch to this app is outstanding.
This app makes setting up alarms intuitive. A list of all alarms are displayed in one place that provides detail on when the time of the alarm, if it's enabled, and even what tone will play when the alarm sounds. There is no difficulty in figuring out how to use all of its features. Timely displays icons that make it easy for users to set new alarms, switch to nightstand or timer mode, or even find out what the "Smart Rise" feature is.
Set the alarm time on any devices and all synced devices (you can chose) will ring simultaneously. Turning off the alarm on one device stops all of them.
Once you wake up to your personal alarm when you have turned it off or snoozed it that's when the news or the weather will start reporting is there such an alarm clock that does this
This feature is a fallback in case the user turns off their alarm and goes right back to sleep. The awake test is an optional second alarm that will go off to ensure the user is either already up or to reawaken them. If the user fails to turn off this alarm after a set period of time, the primary alarm (and all of the possible wake up task(s)) goes off again.
8 available wake up tasks can be enabled. Yes, upon waking up, you can force yourself to complete 8 tasks before the alarm can be turned off. These tasks can be customized. The difficulty levels for some of the tasks can be altered depending on how grueling you want your wake up to be. It is even possible to set the alarm to have a random number of tasks.
It uses the default white text on black background formatting. The entire app has a plain layout with nothing aesthetically pleasing. Sometimes simplicity is best.
Just like most alarm clock apps, this one provides the options to set appearance, notifications, alarm screen, smooth wake ups, time format, and custom alarm tones.
Provides solid suggestions for when to sleep in order to optimize ones sleep quality. It adapts to your sleep patterns over time and relies on ratings provided by the user as well as Deep Sleep % calculated by the app.
This doesn't work as seamlessly as sleep trackers in wearables, like Fitbit trackers. It doesn't record your sleep time, you have input when you go to sleep and when you wake up, which makes it far less useful.
Throughout the night, depth of sleep constantly fluctuates. Gentle Alarm monitors movement and infers how deep the user is sleeping. When there is a lot of movement, it indicates that the REM cycle is ending, and the alarm will go off.
The main screen displays both a digital clock with a surrounding modernistic analog clock and the current date. This design incorporates the local weather with high and low temperatures. An option allows the use of swiping vertically on the screen to increase or decrease the screen's brightness.
If you need more stick than carrot to get you out of bed in the morning, the puzzle alarm clock's a good option. You get an array of challenges to choose from which will force you to wake up and think, or the alarm will continue to pester you until you get up.
This app provides guides on how to go to sleep (what to eat and other strategies), how to stay awake, and more reading material to learn about sleep. All of these guides are local on the app, no internet connection needed. Best of all is the guide on how to use SleepBot to make it the most effective it can be.
SleepBot uses motion to detect when you are in your lightest sleep. It can then wake you up with a gradually increasing volume alarm when you will wake up the least tired.
What makes this app more unique is the ability to touch one button that tells the phone you are asleep which it uses to track how long you sleep. Over time, you can review your sleeping statistics by way of informative graphs.
Alarms will trigger but sound is disabled under Android 10's new silent notifications section. App needs an update to support this, and it's been stagnant since 2017.
Sporting all orange and white font, it makes this app a little more enjoyable to use than your standard textbook alarm clock app. Big bold font with large buttons makes it easier to read and use as well.
You can layout and customize a series of tasks that you need to complete after the alarm goes off. It will sound the alarm after the allotted time for each task to remind you to go onto the next one.
With a single click you can calm down and making a power nap using slowly decreasing natural sound or meditation and after 30 minutes you will be waken up again by slowly increasing natural sound.
Your favorite sound will get you out of bed!
Choose from one of your mp3-files or from thousands of radiostations, sorted by country.
One quick swipe turns the alarm clock into a radio-player if you want to keep listening.
This alarm clock was designed for a maximum of simplicity and a minimum of needless features.
An intuitive and easy alarm setup with simple gestures allows setting up alarms in seconds.
The gesture controlled setup of recurrent alarms has never been easier.

Dismiss, snooze or go-silent.
Clock works fine but all other options (weather especially) has stopped working. Developer has obviously abandoned this app as it has not had an update in 3 years.
Knocker-app plays ads for alarm tones. Each time you listen to an ad, you get between 50 to 250 credits, depending on the ad and if you take any action with the app. Payouts, paid in $5, $10, $25 gift cards, can be collected as you acquire 5k, 10k or 25k in credits respectively.

Use a group alarm as an event planner for outings, parties, or any other social activity. The alarm goes off at the same time for all the participants, and they can confirm or decline, and chat with each other to coordinate.
Optionally add participants to alarms. Participants can remind you of your tasks, if you miss them. If you mark the alarm "done", their alarms to remind you are cancelled.
Create alarms for someone else (“buddy”) to remind them of things they need to do. Buddy is reminded of the task at the time of the alarm. You are notified to remind the buddy in case they miss the alarm. You will also be notified once the buddy marks the alarm done.
