Pros
Pro Futuristic design
With virtually no bezels, the Moto 360 2nd gen continues to look like a smartwatch from the future. There is almost no case when looking at it dead on - just screen. It has lugs this time around, but they are fairly small and unobtrusive. The only design 'flaw' is the flat tire beneath the display which is needed to house the ambient light sensor.
Pro Tons of customization options
You can choose between a 42mm and 46mm size, as well as bezel color (6 available), case color (3 available), and the band (5 available). In all, there are 180 different combinations for the hardware - not including all of the watch faces available for download.
Cons
Con Poor battery life on the 42mm model
The 42mm model only has a 300mAh battery, and likely won't go a full day with ambient mode on (it will bottom out late in the evening).
The 46mm model has a larger 400mAh battery, and will easily be able to manage a full day with ambient mode on or 2 days with ambient mode off.
Con Poor screen technology
Colors aren't too punchy, and in ambient mode the IPS display technology means that all of the pixels will be lit up (even black pixels, which will produce the same very dark purple looking color that you will see on TVs, phones, and laptop screens when showing a black image). This means that the display won't be as energy efficient (especially in ambient mode), and will glow on your wrist in dimly lit areas.
Con Flat tire
At the bottom of the screen is a small black section that isn't part of the display. It houses the ambient light sensor. It is a small eyesore, but adds utility. Because of this sensor, the screen's will automatically get brighter when there's more light around (ie outside), and get dim when it doesn't need to be bright.
