The G502 gaming mouse has 11 programmable buttons, support for macros and profiles, adjustable weight and center of balance, two scroll wheel modes, and a plethora of settings to customize. In addition to the standard left, right, and scroll wheel buttons, there's a button below the scroll wheel, three thumb buttons, two buttons to the left of the left mouse button and you can tilt the mouse wheel left and right for extra functionality as well. All of these buttons can be programmed to do pretty much whatever you want. The scroll wheel can act as a smooth unhindered scroll or a notched scroll depending on how you want to use it. It has an on-the-fly CPI switch with 5 states and the mouse can store three different macro profiles and can switch between them with a button press. You can also customize the weight of the gaming mouse between 121-139 grams and its center of balance with up to five 3.6 gram weights to adjust how it feels as it moves across your mousepad. See More
The mouse weight is already a lot, but for better upward and downward weight distribution, it asks you to insert at least 2 weights in. The shape, however is very much based on hand size and angle preference. Due to its size, it is a bit more comfortable for people with hands larger than the average. See More
Most competitive FPS gaming mice aim to weigh under 100 grams. The G502 weighs 121 grams, which can be further increased to 139 grams with extra weights. The increased weight makes it more difficult to move quickly. It also means your hand will get tired quicker. See More
This mouse is built to last with its mechanical button switches, smooth teflon feet, and lengthy braided cable. The built in rubber thumb rest and rubber side panel makes the mouse ergonomic as well as reducing wear-and-tear. These features combined make for a device that will last for a good while. See More
The LED backlit G on the back of the mouse can be quite bright in a dark room. For users that do not want to use the application that is necessary (or can't, like say Linux users) the light is unable to be turned off. Of course within the application for the mouse the light may be completely turned off. See More
LGS (Logitech Gaming Software) does not have Linux or macOS support, so the mouse cannot be tuned or configured under those operating systems. However, if the mouse is configured on a different OS, the configuration will work on Linux and macOS, since the profiles are stored on the mouse itself. See More
The Zowie EC2-A delivers accurate mouse cursor movement that is essential to any gaming mouse. The Avago 3310 sensor used by this mouse is exceptional. It delivers a true portrayal of mouse movement with no jitter, acceleration or prediction. The available DPI choices of 400/800/1600/3200 are all native and should ensure an equally good performance, regardless of which one is chosen. See More
There's no advanced functionality or accompanying software. There are just 5 buttons and the only settings you can adjust are CPI, polling rate and lift-off distance. And only in preset intervals via specific mouse button combinations. It's a mouse that focuses on the essential factors only - comfort, performance and build quality - all of which it excels at. It doesn't get distracted with anything else. If you think all the bells and whistles that come with gaming mice are unnecessary, this just might be what you're looking for. See More
None of the buttons can be rebound, there are no macros, profiles, or customizable weights. And while the Zowie EC2-A allows you to customize the most important performance settings - CPI, lift-off distance, and USB polling rate - their customization is limited to preset intervals. See More
The left and right mouse buttons have small grooves to help fingers rest in place. The left side lets the thumb grip the mouse comfortably. The side buttons are in an easily accessible, yet unobtrusive position. The coating is slightly textured to help you control the mouse confidently. EC2-A weighs just 94 grams, making it light enough for quick mouse movements and won't cause fatigue after extended use. At the same time, the mouse feels solidly built. Its elegant, ergonomic design is suitable for most hand sizes regardless of the way you hold it. It's worth noting that Zowie offers the EC1-A version for larger hands. See More
Zowie has kept the mouse remarkably simple. There's no RGB lighting, adjustable weights, or superfluous buttons that end up only getting in the way. It's plug-and-play and requires no additional software. You can customize only the essential settings such as lift off distance, polling rate, or switch between left or right-handed modes with just a combination of specific button presses. See More
Due to its thoroughly ambidextrous design, sometimes the ring and pinky fingers can touch the side buttons. Even though they are deactivated and won’t cause mispresses, they are still not as comfortable as non-ambidextrous designs. See More
The standard lift off distance on a cloth mouse pad is 1.5-1.8mm though it will be a bit higher when using a plastic pad being 2.2 - 2.4mm. To enable the plastic pad setting a certain button combination has to be pressed on the gaming mouse itself. See More
The Zowie FK1 gaming mouse uses an Avago 3310 optical sensor which is regarded as one of the best in the world. It has no built-in acceleration and no angle snapping. It’s practically jitter-less when set at 125 and 500Hz polling rate, and has barely noticeable jitter at 1000Hz. The Avago 3310 has no native CPI, it is made to have each step of 50 CPI work as well as the previous one. With CPI steps of 400/800/1600/3200 for the FK1, all CPI choices should work equally well.
