On the surface a neat and simple console emulator. But on further examination, just plain annoying in many aspects. Development for hyper has basically stalled out. It's a cool idea but they made a huge change to the way they handle the terminal and it broke a lot of their plugins and stuff. As a result it's kind of in disarray now.

At the end of the day, every terminal emulator offers the same features. Better copy pasting, tabs, etc. Aesthetics might not be important, but they improve the overall feel of enjoyment when using it and doing work. A somewhat visually pretty terminal, however the initial load is slow and it auto-adds a context item into the Windows rightclick menu without asking first. Needs to mature more; fix theming, font scaling and performance.
