Pros
Pro Near stock Android
Like the Moto G, Moto E runs nearly stock Android and as a result the E can really take advantage of Android's recent improvements in smoothness and speed. Opening applications is obviously slower with its lower spec hardware but general navigation and operation is fluid and smooth with little lag.
Pro Satisfying 4.3" 960x540 LCD display for the price
The Moto E's display contains only 256 PPI with its qHD resolution but the display isn't too terrible for the price. The colors and viewing angles are not as gratifying as its bigger brother Moto G but they still beat others in this price range. In fact the E may be the class leader in display quality at this price. The colors are nicely saturated and the brightness and contrast are decent. The glass is also protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
Cons
Con Very poor 5 megapixel camera performance
The 5 megapixel sensor is a poor performer and to add to that it features a fixed focus lens and no flash. The only time the Moto E will be able to take decent shots is in broad daylight. Images are noisy and lack vivid colors and detail. The only positives of the E's camera experience is the excellent camera application and the HDR mode that can make photos somewhat more appealing.
