Pros
Pro The action of the game is intense and exciting
Nuclear Throne is a mashup of a roguelike and a bullet storm style game. It packs a level of intensity that will be perfect for run-and-gun type players, but also requires a level of patience and risk assessment that you'd find in many roguelikes.
Whether you choose to play fast and furious or slow and methodical, Nuclear Throne is sure to appeal to your style and be an incredibly rewarding game to play.
Cons
Con Too reliant on twitch reactions
You may not have the best reaction time, but you can die to things you barely have time to react to. It can also feel too punishing when starting over again because something random killed you out of nowhere, and you only have 0.2 seconds to respond. That isn't fun at all.
Con Enemies and bosses get worse everytime you get to a new level
In the beginning of first and second level, you can literally have fun killing those enemies, the (first) boss just pops-up out of nowhere and he runs fast if are you too close to him and his bullets are fast too but it still is avoidable
The (second) boss at first is sleeping but a few bullets and it's ready to fight, in the beginning it's slow but that doesn't mean it's weak. It will roll around to make a circle of bullets and it shoots rockets that follow you until you're dead, but with the help of a melee weapon, the bullets and the rockets can be backfired to it
After that, the enemies become a nightmare to deal with, they will kill you in one hit if they touch you and have stupidly overpowered abilities.
