Updated
The latest entry in Ubisoft's venerable stealth series, Splinter Cell: Blacklist is a game that attempts to break new ground while maintaining the series hallmark third-person mobility-driven stealth. Ubisoft has replaced Sam Fisher's voice actor, Michael Ironside, with a new face, which may upset some long-time fans, but with 83% of its ratings being positive on Steam, it's a stealth game well worth playing.

Pros
Cons
Con stereotype story and flat characters
In some older games the story was shown as text for those who are really interested in the background but because the story is pushed by a lot of flat talk sequences it can be added as a con. Also because the story unreferenced to its predecessor for series fans the character collaborations are odd (Grim and Sam Fisher).
Con Picking up guns from guards is difficult
Because what can be used is dependent on the characters position rather then the position of the camera picking up guns is difficult when the lay (as they usually do) near a guard. So sometimes you have to pick up a guard before taking his gun.
Con Unnecessary ingame menus
Instead of "good" menu to change and access all features of the game the player is inside an aircraft between mission. Although it suggests more "care" into the game by adding more depth its just a "plane" where you have to move around to update things and access features. At the end it just costs unnecessary play time.
Con Bad server connections/coding issues
Some people are completely unable to connect to the online features of the game, including even redeeming dlc codes, ostensibly due to hardware incompatibility. These issues have never been fixed by Ubisoft, who simply suggest you format your pc and try again. This does appear to have an effect. For some unknown reason, certain PC setups will not allow online play for this title. The issue even goes so far as to allow 1 of 2 identical systems on the same network access, but not the other.
