One weakness of most stealth games is that it's almost always better to play nonlethally. In Dishonored, choosing the nonlethal option on an assassination target is often a fate worse than death. For instance, one woman can be delivered to her secret stalker, the overseer of the anti-magic church can be branded as a heretic and punished by the church, and a pair of brothers can be sent to slave in the mines they once owned. It doesn't rely on sound or light as a means of stealth

Dishonored clearly borrows a lot of elements from Thief, but sadly, not its ancestor's most important traits. Where Thief cared about the materials you walked on, and had guards that would vocalize constantly to let players know where they were, Dishonored merely relies on whether or not a player is running (loud mode) or crouch-walking (quiet mode), and it feels less satisfying than Thief. Likewise, stealth is based primarily on line of sight in Dishonored, whereas Thief considered light and dark as well; a player cloaked in shadow could not be seen, even if he was standing directly in front of his target. Bad server connections/coding issues

Some people are completely unable to connect to the online features of the game, including even redeeming dlc codes, ostensibly due to hardware incompatibility. For some unknown reason, certain PC setups will not allow online play for this title. The issue even goes so far as to allow 1 of 2 identical systems on the same network access, but not the other. More are being added all the time. Escalations are unusual in that they feature specific constraints, such as specific uniforms that must be worn, or specific methods of assassination. This increases the difficulty, but it's a great to expand each episode. The player contracts are similar, but this game mode allows the player to choose who their target is and what constraints to put in place, making for an endless list of possibilities in a particular level. While killing enemies, the camera will slow down as the bullet crosses the map, outlining the target's skeleton and internal organs in an X-Ray view to show you exactly how the shot goes through them. Lining up the perfect sniper shot and watching as the bullet crosses the map and crushes through the enemy's skeleton and flesh is a visceral experience. The movement of the camera as it zooms in and captures the spattering blood and cracking bones is the most unique part of the gameplay. The levels are massive for their time, with well-designed areas from the era such as towers, open plazas, and religious buildings. The game's soundtrack is top notch. It has a blend of medieval-sounding instruments with modern sci-fi synths, making the tracks unique. There's a measured thoughtfulness and caution that you pick up on as well, almost like the songs themselves mimic you as you stalk your targets while you blend in with the crowd. Interesting story of Assassins versus Templars

The story in Assassin's Creed is full of intriguing ideologies and philosophies. It's a familiar tale of liberty and freedom on the Assassin side and law and order on the Templar side, but it still feels fresh. As an example, the bank heist level features a number of ways to enter the vault and deal with patrolling enemies along the way, like abusing an air duct to sedate bank personnel inside the building. On another playthrough, you may choose to clear the level by killing each enemy you come across, or by taking a different route altogether.
