With DLC there are quite a few cars to choose from, including the Delorian from Back to the future. Create a custom car by choosing paint scheme, color, paint type(gloss/flat, ect.) wheels, boost color, hat and antenna toppers. Countless possibilities, with more to come.
From rolling logs, rotating parts of the range, and super-speed convener belts, the more difficult ranges have obstacles which would be virtually impossible in real-world minigolf. Some of the ranges have obstacles which are hard to see before shooting - for example jumps over a streams, drops, or other obstacles. You can zoom out and pan around from your starting position, but you can't preview the range from the top.
The developer Codemasters has created many rally racing games but are striving to make this the most simulation based title out of all of their releases. This is very welcome as there have not been many Rally simulation games released in the past from Codemasters or any other developers.
iRacing is a cross platform online only subscription based simulation racer. Gameplay is open-ended where players can choose to play whatever races they want either by themselves for practice or online against live opponents.
The controls for the game are very precise and in being so is best played with a driving wheel with petals and a shifter. Trying to play with a gamepad does work but will really inhibit the players controls especially if they are competing in online races.
