Headspace is very well designed, with simple navigation and clear progression between each session. For those that struggle to meditate every day, Headspace has designed a roadmap to help ensure you stay on your path, making it easy to take 10 minutes wherever you are to jump in and meditate. Like many "streak" apps, you collect accolades and achievements as you progress; you can also see your overall meditation time and what you have focused your sessions around.
Pro Based around specific life goals
Depending on what you're trying to achieve, Headspace has a range of different packs that focus around helping you reach your goals. If you're starting a new job; or if you're feeling unhappy in a relationship; or even if you just need help falling asleep at night, Headspace focuses meditation around your goal to help you adjust quickly to the right state of mind.
Pro Great for beginners
If you're new to meditation, Headspace is a great way to begin your journey and understand how meditation works. There are many guided packs and single sessions that teach you how to become more mindful and open up the world of meditation to people who have never meditated before.
Cons
Con More experienced meditators may not be wowed
I feel like the app is great as a helpful reminder and guide for keeping meditation encrusted as a part of your daily routine, especially for busier and more digitally oriented people, but more experienced meditators may be underwhelmed. As a counterargument though, it's not really a point of the practice to meet expectations.
