Pros
Pro Numerous heroes that are easy to pick up and play
Vainglory has over 30 characters to choose from, which gives a nice level of choice to the player as well as stretches the content of the game for those that want to learn and customize each one. Additionally, each hero only has two abilities and one special move, meaning learning and trying out all the different characters is accessible for anyone.
Pro No longer supported, Community edition only available
Vainglory devs lost their servers and released a Community Edition, which is currently on pause development-wise. The game has been pulled from Steam, Samsung, and Amazon platforms, and is only available on iOS App Store and Android Play Store. Developers intend to get back to the game in the future, but there's no definite timeline.
Pro Designed for quick matches
Due to the fact that Vainglory was developed specifically for mobile devices, some matches such as Blitz mode only last about 5 minutes, with the longest matches going only about 20 minutes. This makes it a great MOBA to play on the go when you only have a few minutes to spare.
Cons
Con Unlocking new heroes is time consuming and/or expensive
Unlocking new heroes requires in-game currency that can be very time consuming to grind out. If you don't want to endlessly grind, you can pay real world money to speed up the process. There has much outcry among the playerbase over the years to lower the cost of new heroes.
