Pros
Pro Fun and frantic four player local co-op
Up to four people can play on the same device. Navigating through the levels can be quite fun with friends, as power-ups benefit all players equally (no fighting over who gets what) and you'll need to work closely with your friends to overcome the various environmental dangers and puzzles of each level to progress. Action can get pretty chaotic with four people tapping the screen and doing their best to navigate each level perfectly.
Pro The fun trial and error gameplay contains no consequences and elongates the gameplay
It is only through trial and error by running through each level and trying to avoid obstacles that you will figure out what is dangerous and what all of the different power-ups do. By encouraging you to try things over and over until success, the game exponentially elongates the amount of time spent playing. It also makes for an interesting "figure it out for yourself" way to learn the full mechanics.
Pro Excellent variety in power-ups and puzzles keeps the player guessing as to what is next
Power-ups that make you grow larger or smaller, clone yourself, get bouncy or sticky among others have to be used to get through a selection of creative puzzles. By always introducing new puzzles and new ways to use the various mechanics, it keeps the gameplay fresh and varied throughout the experience.
Pro Includes immersive mode, which allows anyone with a stock Android device to play the game in fullscreen
The developers have included full screen immersive mode in Badland on any Android device with 4.4+. This way anyone using a stock Android device will be able to play the game without the software navigation bar taking up a portion of the screen.
