In addition to Rami's own tools, the toolkit page links to tools by others with the same "do one job and do it well" design. There are also several links to informational resources which Rami considers essential material for new developers.
Many of Rami's tools are implemented in PHP and expect to be accessed from a dedicated web server (i.e. you host your own copy). If you don't already have a website with full server access, they may lack the convenience of hosted services. However, they can be run from a free localhost server; so paying for a host is not required.
Promotional codes for e.g. Steam can be loaded into Promoter, and then assigned to press contacts either directly or through a request form (with approval). Assigned codes will be associated with later coverage.
In addition to providing a curated list of press contacts, Promoter tracks who you've actually contacted, and which of those contacts result in coverage.
Promoter's core feature is a self-updating timeline view of press mentions from an enormous list of sources, including YouTube. Awards and review scores are also tracked.
