Pros
Pro Works online and offline
StackEdit works within your browser. You need internet access to connect to the website, but once it's loaded, the site does not require an internet connection - you will be able to edit and save files locally. Additionally, you can use Fluid to turn it into a native desktop application.

Cons
Con Doesn't save but it "exports" to multiple files
Clicking "export" appears to do nothing. Each time you click it it makes a new file. If you check your file manager you'll find multiple file versions of the same file : file.md , file(1).md, file(2).md, file(3).md etc. Annoying to have to cleanup after each use.
