Pros
Pro Easy to get into
A bit like in chess, the basic mechanics are based purely on movement, so no keys to learn. There are no stats, and most creatures are killed with a single hit -- the same is true for the player, but like in Chess, moves which would immediately lead to being killed are forbidden, so the game is over only when you are checkmated. Advanced parts of the game world include lands based on more complex mechanics, and magical orbs which give temporary special powers.
Cons
Con Non-Euclidean geometry can cause nausea
People susceptible to motion sickness in games may experience it here due to the unusual geometry.
Con Poor save system
The game will save when the player quits only when the Orb of Safety is active. Many do not even know this, and those that do, it is a pretty poor way to go about saves.
Con Items decay quickly
All but one of the items in the game have a charge counter that decays even when not in use. There are ways of mitigating this, but the distances you have to cover in the game mean that getting the item you need to the place where you need it can come down to luck and patience.
