The Chromebook Pixel uses a combination of SeaBios and processor that is able to install Linux fully on the hard drive, replacing Chrome OS.
The keyboard works just as good as a MacBook and is also backlit so the user can type in the dark easily.
A 3:2 screen ration means that the screen is almost square, which makes for a great way to read webpages.
The Pixel does have a fan built into the device as it's i5 processor does need cooling for the more tasking operations.
While offering many great features, the Chromebook Pixel is just too expensive for what the operating system provides.
