Pro Small single-window interface
Unlike more popular players that draw a huge window taking up the entire screen, with tons of knobs and menus popping out in new windows, qmmp gives you a single tiny window (that looks pretty much the same as Winamp used to look) with the basic controls and the playlist. The rest is available through a menu.

Surprisingly, this is the only player I've tried that splits long files such as audiobooks or concerts into chapters which populate the playlist, instead of only showing hash marks in the seek bar or ignoring chapters entirely. As with all music players on Linux, it has a few bugs. BUT, it has far less bugs than all the others, making it the most reliable.

Has very few dependencies. Easy to use, with a clean and simple interface. Reminds me a bit of the long gone xmms.

There is no support for HDPI screen. Witch give unscaled, tiny and ridiculous windows. Too bad, the player look good.
