Acceptable ads is an ad that follow the guidelines of the set acceptable advertising rules such as ads must be labelled "ads", no pop-outs allowed, no auto-plays, no animations, does not block main content etc. However, users can turn off this feature by going to settings and then unchecking "allow acceptable ads".
