You have to choose a time when you don't need to monitor your baby to put the band to charge. It requires six hours to charge and only charges by placing it on top of the baby unit.

The Simshine Baby Pro is a unique baby monitor as it offers PTZ support, unlike many other costly baby monitors. With the ability to remotely control the camera through an app, you can easily view your baby's entire room from anywhere, at any time.
Setting up is a breeze with the app. Simply draw a boundary on the video and the Baby Pro will instantly send an alert if your baby tries to venture beyond it. While it can be used to define the edges of your baby's crib, its full potential shines when your little one starts walking and the camera is positioned on a shelf.
LED lights will alert you when there is noise coming from your baby's room. This is best for when the audio can easily be drowned by sounds in the room you're in.
You can easily switch the lenses to suit your needs. You can use a close-up lens for intimate vision of your baby and swap for panoramic lens when your child becomes more mobile to provide a full view of your child's room.
This is the ideal setup for two children in two separate rooms. You can choose to see the rooms at the same time on split-screen or go on 'patrol', which auto switches the view in 10-second intervals.

Piper can communicate with Z-Wave sensors and control Z-Wave switches. Together they can be used to control lighting, entertainment system, and household appliances based on conditions defined with Piper.
Piper includes sensors that can monitor movement, sound, temperature, brightness and humidity and perform a variety of actions based on changes detected by the sensors. Actions such as start recording, blare a screeching siren and send alerts via sms, email, call or push notification. It can even perform actions such as turn lights on or off if a Z-Wave switch is installed. Separate rules can be set when home, away or on vacation.

The dedicated free app on Android and iOS allows the parent to see the baby at any time and get push notifications when there's movement. It also has interesting features such as sleep analysis including when the baby fell asleep and for how long.
