Pros
Pro Includes 2 very good DLC campaigns
The late Diamond Edition, and now the only remaining Enhanced Edition, come with "Shadows of Undrentide" and "Hordes of the Underdark", on top of the less-developed, original campaign that Bioware hadn't had much time to work on (it still is very enjoyable).
Pro Lot of available modules, of excellent quality
Users have published excellent campaigns over the years, most of which is available on the Neverwinter Vault (https://neverwintervault.org/).
Pro (EE) Still being maintained and improved, while back-compatible
The Enhanced Edition (which also includes the original Diamond edition), is still being worked on by Beamdog, they released a new patch in autumn 2020 with graphics improvements. The Aurora Engine was in advance on its time when it was released, and while it has aged, it is still very acceptable.
The back-compatibility ensures that the player benefits from the huge amount of modding (to check though: whether all visual improvement mods are still compatible with the latest patches, or if they are worth it).
Cons
Con Managing items could be easier
Other games released around the time of this one featured way to auto sort items, which is meaningful in a game that has so many items to sort. Sadly this is not the case for neverwinter Nights, which means a lot of time will have to be spent on micro managing ones items. This can get tiring after a while.
