OBS is an awesome tool for recording tutorials, games, or anything else on your screen. OBS is open source and free and is constantly getting updated. There are many options to choose from and you can customize many aspects of the program. I use OBS for creating software tutorials on YouTube. Capturing (screen, video, a window, etc.) with annotation + automation makes for some powerful workflows. Annotation is key for research on any project size. Capturing screenshots, editing them ("annotating"), converting to a PNG, removing the background to make a transparent version, saving to google drive, creating large+med+sm sizes, uploading thumbnails, is an example of a workflow you could create. It consumes less resources and is more fluid than OBS. For example, a 1 GB GTX 750 records perfectly in 1920 x 1084 at 60 fps up to 4K, without using the processor, only the graphics card. Trying to do the same with OBS, the recordings do not exceed 15 FPS, nor is it possible to stream with OBS. With Mirilis Action it is possible to stream in high quality at 60 FPS, no matter the platform, it is fluid (tested with 8000Kbps upload and stream with 8GB Ram at 1600Mhz). See More
Consume menos recursos y es mas fluido que OBS, tengo una gtx 750 de 1 GB y graba perfecto en 1920 x 1080 a 60 fps hasta 4k, sin usar mi procesador 4570, solo usa la tarjeta gráfica, en mi caso es de NVIDIA, mientras que si hago lo mismo con OBS las grabaciones no superan los 15 FPS tampoco puedo hacer stream con OBS, pero con mirilis action si es posible hacer streams en alta calidad a 60 FPS no importa la plataforma va fluido, cabe resaltar que solo poseo un plan de 8000Kpps de subida y stremeo con 8GB Ram a 1600Mhz See More
