The Capisco's shaped seat and back piece are intended to support a variety of positions with minimum obstruction, encouraging both in-place movement and position changes throughout the day.
The saddle posture, with legs spread apart and supported by the feet and buttocks only, supports good natural back posture and allows better blood flow than sitting with the thighs.
Because the saddle position exploits anatomy for natural support, it demands a certain amount of muscle tone. This develops naturally over a week or so, but can cause some discomfort in the meantime.
