Used a couple times, maybe an hour of experience so far. Can't even understand what's happening yet! No simple 1-2-3 steps. Rather, 4 split panes, so many blobs of info, too many panes, columns, lines and subtleties, AND NO CLEAR WORKFLOW / DIRECTION to go!! The UI is so confusing!! Seriously, since when mp3 tagging became a science? Cmon geeks, USABILITY!! 1-2-3, BAM! Life's too short... Cluster: what's that? It's scary!! Lookup / Scan: why 2 buttons, isn't it the same thing? What's the work flow ? With a GUI, it should be obvious: step 1 do A, then 2 = B, 3 = C, etc etc... Why is there so many buttons and places to click ? Ah what the heck, maybe we should just pay for a USABLE tool! ;-) See More
Had some mixed results so far, used it maybe 4 times on a bunch of random files who were unsorted / had messed up or no tags. It identifies some of the files, but it's far from obvious how one should use it... Nothing it obvious about this pretty simple task (or so it seems for a newbie). Why not a simple walkthrough / tutorial. Even after a few times I don't understand what the commands do: cluster, lookup, scan. So I end up clicking a few buttons and see some files get found and the GUI fills up some slots with information. That's about as much as I have patience to decipher Picard. Maybe I'm not enough a Trekkie, I'd rather have a Borg clean up my mp3s automatically in silence without having to learn Klingon... ;-) See More
MusicBee can be skinned which can significantly change the appearance of a player. To apply a skin, it must first be downloaded, moved to the appropriate folder, and after restarting MusicBee, it can be applied. A collection of skins can be found here. It's also possible to customize the layout by choosing which panels to display. See More
