Limbo uses a wide range of puzzles in game that range from simply moving a box to puzzles that have multiple parts and normally do not reveal their secrets until the player has died while trying to solve it.

There has been many imitators since but Limbo is the original game that used a black and white art style for a stylish and creepy effect.

The game, by design has the main character dying quite a bit, often very gruesomely and so may not be appropriate for younger players.

Leo's Fortune offers some solid platforming which is pulled off not just by some good level design but greatly programmed touch screen controls.

Terraria is a 2D platformer Minecraft style game where the player must survive in a randomly generated world through crafting objects. It costs $4.99 and has zero in app purchases. The gameplay consists of starting in a randomly generated world where the player must survive by collecting objects that can be crafted into equipment and building materials. The equipment is used to protect oneself from enemies while the building materials are used to create shelters. It is an open ended game that has no specific goals other than survive.
Pro Good story
The Great Fusion has many moments of satire and is even charmingly cynical, giving the story a lot of character and making it a joy to play through.
Con Poor translation
There are grammatical errors in almost every line of dialogue.
Pro Strange story with hand drawn graphics
The story is a bit crazy and a little all over the place, which is fitting with the look of the hand drawn character and backgrounds.

With 165 stages scattered across 11 different levels there is quite a lot of content to be had.

You control 3 out of 7 characters representing deadly sins. They have to use their special abilities and work together to solve logic puzzles. The puzzles are also thematic and change based on characters you've chosen.

The main character of the game is The Cave itself. The Cave has a tendency for ironic, deep-voiced remarks regarding his new inhabitants, their past and the events currently taking place.
Pro Nastalgia
For those that played the original title, it will be a fun trip down memory lane to play the game again after so many years.
Con Large file size
The new HD graphics, included full soundtrack and in game full-motion videos take up quite a bit of room on the device, just short of 1GB.
Pro Android OS exclusive
The 7th Guest: Remastered is an Android OS exclusive, meaning iOS and the Windows Phone platforms will not receive the game for sometime. Seeing as how a lot of high quality releases on release on iOS at first, it is refreshing to see Android the preferred platform for a release.

Ittle Dew supports HID gamepads.
Pro Fun boss puzzles
The boss levels in the game are puzzles that are aggressive towards the player, making for a nice change from the normal puzzles to be found as well as add a bit more challenge to the gameplay overall.
Pro Block moving puzzle oriented
Ittle Dew is comprised of mainly block moving puzzles to progress room to room in the games dungeons. While there are a few other puzzles throughout the game, mainly block moving is what the player will be doing.
Con Poor story in second act
The second act of the game has an increasingly incoherent story that explains very little of what is going on. Considering the first act ends with a cliffhanger and many questions to be asked, to see the second half explain almost none of it makes for a frustrating story.
Pro Full game
For 15 months only the first part of the game was available on a few platforms. With the mobile releases the full game is what is on sale both part one and part two.
Con Puzzles in second act too convoluted
In comparison of the first act, which had simple puzzles that moved the story forward, the puzzles in the second act are extremely difficult with no easy or obvious answers. Having to resort to a guide to even finish the game because of the imbalance is really no fun at all.
Pro New commentary track
The current remastered developers have added a new commentary track from the original key developers to the game.
Pro Inspired by the Day of the Dead holiday, Mexican folklore and film Noire
Grim Fandango is self admittedly inspired by the Day of the Dead Mexican holiday as well as Noir style films.
Con No tutorial
A missed opportunity with this remake is the chance to finally add a tutorial.

A detailed aesthetic, a great score and an intriguing narrative together create a world that engrosses you from the very beginning.
Pro Puzzles are a part of the world
Puzzles in this game are not too difficult and usually can be quickly figured out by being attentive of your surroundings. But they are not supposed to be hard, they are meant to bring you further into the world.
Con Subpar gameplay
The gameplay often times feels convoluted or just too high concept.
