Since the course was recorded there has been a few releases of both RN and the tools & libraries that are being used in the course. Most of the course's content is still very relevant but in some occasions requires the learner to look online for things that changed a bit. It doesn't matter much since the main purpose of this course is RN's principles which are conveyed well and didn't change. See More
As a frontend engineer that has a general idea of how React works (not React Native) but no actual experience with it, I took this course and the instructor explains everything really well and in depth, starts with very basic React and React Native concepts, adds Redux and along the way teaches everything you'll need to start writing React Native apps. The course has you building a few small apps so if you code along you'll be in a good shape entering the world of RN. See More
In a quick search through the forum, you'll notice no feedback or support of any kind from the course's author. This tells you that the author merely posted it, cashed out, and moved on with no intention of supporting it. That doesn't bode well for the community. See More
