Excellent Product. Many useful features such as Multi-Select, Color Highlighting, Move to a different Node, can handle many separate Documents, In-line Images, Hyperlink between Items. It remains a simple interface, and the different functionality items do not clutter. See More
This app is exactly what I needed. I love that Momentum.Earth has that automated Review feature. And the ability to simply drag things between different statuses. I love the use of colors and that they have encryption now. I have been looking for a progress tracker feature like this for a while! I've used and still use TickTick but they have too many bugs in their implementation of Markdown and some buggy experiences on mobile. I tried to use TickTick as my one and only software but that imploded slowly. Now I use TickTick solely as a calendar and for reminders every now and then. Standard Notes and Notesnook for longform text. And Momentum.Earth as a sort of a digital journal/checklist to keep a top level perspective on everything. I also enjoy dropping off quick ideas, todo's and reminders into Momentum.Earth to pick up on later and form them into projects. See More
I work on many platforms. I can't say that there are no disadvantages to having native integration for every platform, but than this tool also has linux integration which seldom makes the cut with the native variants. It's fast enough as PWA that it being non-native doesn't matter, integrations aside. See More
Todoist's web and desktop interfaces have a 2-column layout. The right column has all tasks organized in nested lists with color codes and information such as what people are assigned to each task and which project the task is part of. The left column offers ways of accessing various groups of tasks – tasks that have to be completed within a certain timeframe, tasks that are a part of a certain project or have certain labels attached to them, etc. The left column also contains filters that allow even more advanced ways of finding a group of tasks. This has been a consistent "con" with Todoist. You cannot decide what should be the size of the fonts. You cannot switch between one-column layout and 2-column layout. You cannot view completed tasks. It is a brilliant application of course, but the development team is stuck on its basic idea of the app and after that they just haven't been developing further. The forecast summary shows a quick digest of the tasks you have for the day. You can select any day to quickly see what tasks you have planned that day. For extra functionality you can connect with the iPhone’s Calender app, which allows you to also see any other events you have planned that day. See More
The offline desktop requires installing Google Chrome first before the WorkFlowy app can be installed. This is not good news for non-Chrome users especially users who frequently uses Firefox or Safari as their default browsers, in which Chrome app also suffers memory leak and battery issues. See More
When you have to link to, for example, a website, you can't attach the URL of the site to a word. You have to post the full URL instead. You can't have, for example, Slant, you instead have to post http://slant.co. It's especially annoying if you have a long URL that takes up a lot of space in the document. See More
