With Kingdom Rush, as with other tower defense games, there isn't just one set path to winning. There are several options at any time to go with and any of them, if used correctly, could lead to victory.

The graphics are cartoony, yet detailed. The entire game is set in a fun, fantasy tone. It's all pleasing to look at and adds some wonder.

There's always a way to counteract your enemies. If you make a mistake, you learn what you need to know next time. It never feels cheap.

New towers and abilities are unlocked at a rate that feels natural and not sluggish.

Kingdom Rush's audio continues the cartoony feel of the game. The voice acting leads to some really funny moments too.

Though most of the little easter eggs don't do much past an achievement, they really give the game character and make the levels more memorable.
