Pros
Pro Beginner-friendly
The camera is great to learn shooting video with because it doesn't overwhelm you with buttons and it has an auto-mode that does everything for you.
It doesn't have too many buttons for a lot of in-depth customizations so it won't overwhelm you. Though those settings are still there, just cannot be accessed as quickly. Which is a good feat for beginners, since that will give you enough time to learn how everything comes together, and how to use them. Such as aperture and shutter speed.
The auto-mode, on top of doing everything for you, will also help you understand what settings to use under what conditions. That's because it displays some of them on the screen while autofocusing. Those being aperture, shutter speed and ISO sensitivity.
Cons
Con Some shots are a bit more difficult to monitor due to the display being fixed in place
Shots, like ones close to the ground, are a bit more difficult to monitor. Filming yourself by holding the camera in your hand can also be difficult since you do not have a way of seeing yourself.
