Apple Watch has one of the most accurate gyroscopes of any smartwatch and as a result it knows with high precision when you're looking at it and turns on the display and when you're not looking at it and turns off the display.
When a new notification arrives, the device will vibrate slightly to inform of that notification. It allows you to be informed of incoming notifications in a discreet way.
There are two buttons on the side for navigation - a digital crown that you can rotate and press in and a simple, tactile button. While the button is pretty straightforward using the digital crown is not an intuitive way to navigate.
The Apple Watch starts at $349. It has 3 versions - Sport, that costs either $349 or $399, Apple Watch version that costs $549 or $599, and Edition version starts at $10,000.

S2 runs Samsung's own Tizen operating system. It currently has a lot less apps than Android Wear or Apple's Watch OS and a lot of third-party apps perform badly on the device. It's unclear if developers will start to develop Tizen apps in the near future.
The watch is cellular, meaning it can be used without having to pair it with a phone. It allows making and receiving calls potentially replacing your phone.
Gear S2 3G includes an accelerometer, a barometer, a gyroscope, a heart rate monitor, a proximity sensor, a compass, and a UV light sensor enabling developers to get very creative with their apps.
The product is IP68 certified. The certification guarantees that the product can be submerged up to a meter and a half in water at room temperature for up to 30 minutes.
Because the strap mounts for the standard model are unique, it will be difficult to find different straps to use with the watch. The S2 Classic has standard 20mm quick-release pins, but that is not available as a 3G variant.
The smartwatch has a good selection of high-quality, elegant watchfaces. Additionally, Moto's app Connect allows changing background and color of different elements for these watchfaces (with some of them having additional, watchface-specific options).
