Pro Configurable range focus
There is a knob on the speakers which modifies what range is accented. This means that if you are in a bass-y mood, you can crank the knob down, then later on in the day re-focus for a more treble-heavy experience.
Pro Good clarity
The bass doesn't rumble, and trebles come out very clear. Vocals are also very clear, and you get the full depth of the singer's vocal range.
Cons
Con Not flat
The ROKIT 5, like other low-budget studio monitors, does not have a flat response. It is exaggerated in the low end and high end, which makes it more difficult to use for critical listening tasks like mixing and mastering.
Con Ordering issues
The 2 most recent reviews on Amazon (June 7, June 17) both claim that they only received 1 speaker instead of 2. There is a possibility that you will have to go through Amazon customer service, although this could just be a fluke.
