By putting the motor in the wheel itself, you cannot quickly swap with just any skateboard wheel you prefer. The thinner wheel material will likely make riding more "bumpy" as it won't be able to absorb those impacts without transmitting them to the rider. Those impacts (if you ride rough surfaces especially) may also contribute to premature motor wear/failure. See More
