You don't have to set your alarm to 4 in the morning because an enemy fleet is inbound and you never have to worry about your hard-earned property to be destroyed.

The game runs in any browser. There's no flying around in space, which would require a heavy 3D client without adding any actual depth in terms of gameplay.
